Contact Florida Emergency Response

We Accept Calls Only

Florida Emergency Response operates on a calls only basis. We do not accept online contact forms, email requests, or chat messages for emergency dispatch. Water damage emergencies require an immediate response. A phone call is the only way to get help to your address within 60 minutes.

What Happens When You Call

When you call Florida Emergency Response, a real person answers. No automated menu. No voicemail. No hold music.

The dispatcher asks you three questions. Where are you located. What type of water event are you dealing with. How long has the water been present. Based on your answers, we classify the emergency, identify the nearest available certified technician to your address, and dispatch them immediately. You will know help is on the way before you hang up.

Our 60 minute response target applies across our entire Florida service area. In Ocala, Gainesville, Cape Coral, Lakeland, Port St. Lucie, and surrounding communities, we maintain technician positioning specifically to meet this standard at any hour.

What to Do While You Wait

Do not attempt to clean sewage backup or Category 3 flood water yourself. It is a health hazard. Consumer products do not eliminate the contamination.

Do shut off the water source if it is safe to reach. A shutoff valve under a sink, behind a toilet, or at your main water supply line stops ongoing damage immediately.

Do turn off electricity to affected rooms if water is near any outlets, panels, or electrical equipment. Water and live electricity in the same space is a life safety emergency.

Do move valuables, important documents, and irreplaceable items out of the affected area if you can do so safely without entering standing water.

Do not run consumer fans or shop vacuums on a water damaged area. They do not dry structure to safe moisture levels. They spread contamination in sewage backup situations. They produce no documentation for your insurance claim. Wait for our technician.

Do take photos of the damage before moving anything if your phone is nearby and you can do so safely from dry ground. These photos supplement our professional documentation and help your insurance claim.
